What are the requirements to qualify?
Complete at least 10 AI debriefs, 30 flashcard study sessions, and achieve 80% or higher on the checkride readiness assessment. You must maintain an active paid subscription throughout your training.
How do I know if I qualify?
Your student dashboard tracks your progress toward the guarantee in real time. You'll see exactly how many debriefs and flashcard sessions you've completed, plus your readiness score.
Is there a time limit?
The guarantee is active as long as you maintain an active VectoredOps subscription. There's no arbitrary expiration date — train at your own pace.
What if I don't meet all the requirements?
The requirements exist because structured preparation works. Research shows that students who use structured debriefs and spaced repetition retain more and perform better. If you don't meet them, you can still take your checkride — the guarantee just won't apply.
How do I file a claim?
Contact us with your FAA test results showing the failure. We verify your program completion (all tracked automatically in the system), and process the reimbursement within 14 business days.
Does this apply to all certificate levels?
Currently, the Checkride Pass Guarantee covers Private Pilot and Instrument Rating checkrides. We plan to expand to Commercial and CFI certificates as we gather more data.

Are there situations where the guarantee would not apply?
Yes. The guarantee does not apply if: (a) your checkride failure resulted from a medical issue, FAA enforcement action, or safety violation; (b) you did not meet all activity requirements before your checkride date; (c) your subscription was inactive at the time of the checkride; or (d) you did not follow the reasonable instructions of your CFI during training. The guarantee is a financial protection for prepared students — it is not insurance against training deficiencies.
